Santa Rosa Medical Center is a 129-bed acute care facility with 50 physicians.
Health care services range from 24-hour physician-staffed emergency care, women's
services including the Baby Suite Family Birthing Center, day surgery, critical
care, high-tech radiology, skilled nursing facilities, business health program
and physician referral. Apart from these services Santa Rosa Medical Center
offers high-technology testing and diagnostic services, including magnetic resonance
imaging (MRI) CT scans and mammography. Santa Rosa Medical Center and has two
family practice physicians in Pace Family Medical Center.
Jay Hospital is a 55-bed facility providing acute, emergency and long-term
care. Specialized services including CT scans, mammography, ultrasound and echo
encephalography are also available at the hospital through a mobile service
which visits the hospital regularly. Seniors may benefit from the GoldenCare
program. The Golden Care program is free and consist of special services and
monthly meetings. Jay Hospital medical staff includes four family practitioners,
a pediatrician, an internal medicine physician, a general surgeon, an orthopedic
surgeon and a gastroenterologist.
Gulf Breeze Hospital is a 60-bed facility. Private and semi-private rooms and
a four-bed intensive care unit are offered at this hospital. Gulf Breeze Hospital
is distinguished by its experienced medical specialists and latest medical technology
which can only be found in in larger hospitals. Gulf Breeze Hospital employs
more than 200 people, and it benefits from the volunteer efforts of 200-plus
auxiliary members. Gulf Breeze Hospital specialize in the following health care
services: Cardiopulmonary Services, Emergency Services, Rehabilitation Therapy,
Radiology, EEG, Laboratory and pathology, Gastroenterology, Nuclear medicine,
Pulmonary medicine, Mammography, DEXA Scan (Osteoporosis Scanning), and Diagnostic
Ultrasound.
