The Santa Rosa County Humane Society is the Animal Services Facility located in Milton . The Animal Services Facility has many pets available for adoption. An animal may be selected in the shelter or the facility's website. Once the desired pet is chosen an adoption application must be completed to ensure that the desired animal is placed in a compatible home. Adopted animals are required to leave the premises spayed or neutered. Therefore, the person who desires to adopt a pet must pre-pay a Santa Rosa Veterinarian of their choice before the adoption is completed. Animals who are six months of age or older are transported from the shelter to the vet for altering.
